EBONY Queens Contest

In June 2010, Ebony magazine provided HBCU Queens to submit videos to them during the search of the Ebony Queen contest. In order to qualify to be recognized as an Ebony/Jet magazine representative they needed to get voted on by their peers, administration, etc. HBCUQueens from North Carolina, New York, Atlanta, Florida, and all over the nation submitted videos but only 10 HBCUQueens were granted the chance to represent Ebony/Jet Magazine during the 2010-2011 academic school year. The following are the HBCUQueens that will be representing EBONY/JET Magazine during the 2010-2011 academic school year.

• Ms. Kimberley Smith: Miss Bethune Cookman University 2010-2011
• Ms. Ali'Yah Arnold: Miss Albany State University 2010-2011
• Ms. Carla Saunders: Miss North Carolina A&T State University 2010-2011
• Ms. Jennifer Langston: Miss North Carolina Central University 2010-2011
• Ms. Torrie Massey: Miss Tuskegge University 2010-2011
• Ms. Jasmine Abrams: Miss Virginia State University 2010-2011
• Ms. Jade Young: Miss Xavier University 2010-2011
• Ms. Candace Warren: Miss Fisk University 2010-2011

The HBCUQueen Ebony/Jet subscription will be coming out in September! Lets support these queens throughout the year and wish them luck in all of their endeavors over the year and their continued successes.
